Bike-A-Thon 2021

Hi. This is Frank "Tiba" Thomas Jr.. I am a first generation Trinidadian-American from Dorchester. I am an incoming freshman at UMASS Boston. This summer, for the 2nd year, I have a job as a Youth Apprentice at Bikes Not Bombs in Jamaica Plain. I am writing to you to ask you to support my bike ride for Bikes Not Bombs (BNB) on September 12, 2021. It is a fundraising ride to raise money for BNB, a 37 year-old nonprofit that uses bicycles as a vehicle for social change to empower Black and other marginalized people in Boston as well as in Africa and Central America.

In my time at BNB, I have gained unforgettable memories and knowledge about community outreach, bike mechanics and experience with social justice.

BNB is making change and helping our communities gain access to bikes and solve transportation problems. Please contribute to Bikes Not Bombs, because we have changed the lives of people, while also promoting social justice and fighting climate change.
