The Student Success Fund helps students cover the travel costs to present their research at a conference. For many students, this is a life changing experience . . . the travel, the conference, presenting the research are all new and challenging for them. The students return with more confidence, polished presentation and communications skills, and they've met people from all over the country.
I believe in the value of this experience and I am asking for your help to fund more of these opportunities for our students.
$60 pays mileage to attend a local conference
$125 pays a registration fee
$500 covers the cost of travel including an overnight stay in California or other nearby areas.
$1200 covers the cost of travel to most other US conferences
Won't you please help me on December 3rd. Any amount will help. Just think of the smile you will put on a student's face. (and mine!)
