Students. It's always about the students. We are about the military-connected students. CSUSM is home to more than 450 student veterans, the highest percentage per capita of any California State University campus. We serve a total of over 1,770 military-connected students out of about 16,000 enrolled in the school. This means we serve 11% of our student population!
The Veteran Services team is composed of faculty and staff, mostly veterans themselves, serving CSUSM veterans, active duty, ROTC and family members in a number of ways. We have programming and events for our students to instill a sense of community and belonging -- just like the rest of campus and something they know from the military.
