Even the most devoted and prepared Cougar can be stopped in their tracks by unexpected financial challenges. Whether the issues are covering basic needs like food or housing, or handling unexpected financial emergencies, a students’ ability to pay can make or break their CSUSM experience. When a student needs help, their first stop is the Financial Aid and Scholarships office, and a scholarship and your support can change the life of a student. Last year, over 2,000 scholarships were awarded to CSUSM students to help cover not only the cost of tuition and fees, but books, room and board, and transportation. With the help of donors like you, our students were able to begin their university journey or continue the path to graduation.
We are excited to participate in CSUSM Giving Day, when the global Cal State San Marcos community comes together to show our hearts and support what we love about our students. Together, we can shape the future of CSUSM, our community and the world.
