Basketball Scholarships - Women's

Support our student-athletes! Your gift to our scholarship fund will provide our student-athletes a first-class educational and athletic experience. The Cal State San Marcos Department of Athletics is an NCAA Division II program and a member of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA). We are committed to the scholar-athlete model, community service and developing student leadership.

With first-class facilities, 14 sponsored sports and over 300 student-athletes, we engage our students, our community, our alumni and our fans through high-quality competition, positive sportsmanship and community engagement. While our student-athletes work to bring their “A” game to the field, court and course, they continue to make academics their top priority. Our commitment to academic excellence is reflected in their daily efforts, as well as their honorable mentions.

As one of the top academic schools in the region, CSUSM Athletics placed 92 student-athletes on the 2018-19 CCAA All-Academic team for achieving a 3.40 GPA or higher in at least 24 units. In spring 2019, over 60% of our student-athletes earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Our student-athletes continue to excel both academically and athletically, and we believe that their hard work, dedication and determination deserve the very best in return.

During the program’s history, our generous donors have helped us transform dirt lots into athletic fields, enabling lifelong lessons in teamwork, perseverance and leadership. Now, with your support, we can grow our scholarship fund and recruit the best student-athletes to represent CSUSM both on and off the field of play.
