CSUSM Giving Day 2019

The Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Queer and Ally Faculty Staff Association of Cal State San Marcos is proud to announce the launch of the LGBTQA FSA Scholarship Award for CSUSM students, supported by your benevolent contributions. Staying true to the FSA’s purpose of addressing and supporting the needs of the LGBTQA community on campus, and to CSUSM’s strategic plan (Objectives 5.2-5.4) of educational equity and inclusiveness, this scholarship has been established with the goals of recognizing and celebrating our LGBTQI+ students.

Particularly, we are soliciting scholarship applications from CSUSM students who identify as LGBTQI+ and meet the following qualifications:

Currently enrolled at CSUSM
Have demonstrated a commitment to building a strong sense of community, inclusiveness and belonging among other students and community members on the LGBTQI+ spectrum
Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 or greater.

Monies received will help us move closer to our $25,000 threshold for establishing an endowed scholarship in the coming months.
