The Office of Inclusive Excellence, in partnership with the Summer Scholars Program, selects one to two students to participate in the competitive portion of the National Role Models Conference by Minority Access, Inc, a nonprofit organization that implemented the National Role Models Project in cooperation with 170 colleges and universities.
CSUSM students finished in first place at the conference this year and in second place in 2017 and 2018. We are raising funds so that student researchers have a platform to share their research findings, enhance their presentations skills, and receive guidance from seasoned researchers, mature scholars and their peers next year.
With the support of your funding, you can help a student compete for a monetary award with their presentations and gain access to research departments of graduate programs, pharmaceutical and/or high-tech firms.
