Health is the foundation for quality of life. Many students at CSUSM are struggling with getting their basic needs met, such as having enough money to purchase feminine hygiene products or pain relievers due to headaches or being sick. As a result, students may have resort to skipping school or work. At Student Health & Counseling Services, we want to help ease students' concerns regarding whether or not they can afford these items and make them available so that they can focus on their classes.
Through your financial support on Giving Day, we hope to fund the distribution of feminine hygiene products, over-the-counter pain relievers, Band-Aids, and additional resources that may be requested through valued student input -- all at no cost to our CSUSM students. Your donation(s) will continue the mission of SHCS to enhance their academic and intellectual potential by allowing students to perform optimally both physically and mentally as healthy Cougars.
