Fraternity & Sorority Life at Cal State San Marcos supports 14 chapters composed of between 600 to 800 students, with an expansion plan in place to grow to at least 17 chapters by 2021. To greater support the number of involved students, three student-led councils were created in spring 2018: Interfraternity Council, Multicultural Greek Council and Panhellenic Council. These new organizations collaborate with and enhance the Greek Leadership Council to support chapters; execute all-Greek academic, educational and social programming; and coordinate philanthropy and service opportunities.
Your donations on Giving Day in previous years have helped send chapter and council student leaders to the Association for Fraternal Leadership Values West. This year, donations made to the Fraternity & Sorority Life foundation account will directly support:
- Leadership development opportunities for all council and chapter leaders
- Increased student attendance at on- and off-campus retreats
- Regional and national conferences such as Association for Fraternal Leadership Values West
- Educational programs for all fraternity and sorority members pertaining to sexual violence, diversity and inclusion, alcohol education, career and professional development, and other critical topics.
Thank you for considering a gift that will greatly impact the experience of fraternity and sorority students at CSUSM!
