2021 Young Heroes Car Parade

Register today and join us on Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021 for the Young Heroes Car Parade. Jump in your car and honk your horn in support of the children in the hospital, and wave at the Nemours Health Care Heroes along the route.

The Young Heroes Car Parade will raise funds for research and patient services at Nemours Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (NCCBD) at the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. NCCBD offers patient and family-centered pediatric oncology and hematology care that includes the full range of clinical and support services alongside internationally recognized research programs.

Cars, motorcycles and other licensed vehicles are welcome to join us. Register as an individual or participate in a team!

The Young Heroes Online Auction is open and will close at 5pm on October 4th! Bid on some amazing items including a FAO Schwartz VIP Tour, Temple University Football Suite tickets, Phillies memorabilia and beautiful earrings by Daydream Weaver! You can also enter a chance to win a hand sewn quilt created with NCCBD patient and Health Care Hero art work!

As a pediatric hospital, our commitment is to keep our children and families safe and healthy. Given current community transmission rates and the effects of the delta variant on the pediatric community, Nemours has implemented stricter requirements to the Young Heroes Car Parade. All participants must remain in their cars and practice social distancing at all times.


