My Personal Fundraising Page

Homelessness is not something that anyone expects to happen to them, yet it does. And it can happen to anyone. As some may be aware, my kiddo and I were homeless at one point and lived in a shelter for about 16 months. I vowed when I was able to get out of that situation that I would always do my best to help others in similar situations. As a family we've fed the homeless on a regular weekly basis for years at a time; have participated in the annual Homeless Count, and continue to try to give back in any way possible.

It makes me incredibly happy that JPL is participating in the United Way's HomeWalk to support homeless families. I'm proud to be part of the JPL Voyagers team doing the 5K Family Walk on Saturday, May 18th at Grand Park in downtown Los Angeles.

I have a personal goal to raise $100 but I'm hopeful that my amazing friends will help me far surpass that goal.
