HOM Teal Strides 2023

It's amazing that cancer is already almost 1.5 years behind me. I am here today — a survivor — due to the swiftness of my diagnosis and subsequent surgery. For me, surgery was curative, but my experience is rare. I continue to feel incredibly blessed and so very grateful for the support I received from my family, friends, community.

Did you know? The American Cancer Society estimates that in 2023, approximately 19,710 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer and 13,370 women will die of ovarian cancer in the United States. Ovarian cancer ranks fifth in cancer deaths among women.
