The Montpelier section of the Green Mountain Club  is happy to be participating in Long Trail Day 2026, a fundraiser supporting the Green Mountain Club! We are passionate about this cause and need your help! Every donation—big or small—helps us reach our fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause.

Thanks to everyone who donated - we reached our goal of $300.  We are now going for $400!

This year Long Trail Day falls on Sept 19.  Many sections of the GMC are organizing activites for that day.  The Montpelier section will be hiking a week later, on Sept 26.  We are going to hike up Mt Belvidere from the Long Trail trailhead in Eden.  The GMC has completely redone this section of trail, and we are looking forward to trying out the new trail!  Please feel free to hike with us.  Donations are optional.  We will meet here at 9 am on Sept 26:  https://maps.app.goo.gl/1nC3xpzNLYHUTU5J7
