I've spent years volunteering at Lone Star Bleeding Disorders Foundation events, getting to know so many people in this community along the way. I also have family members living with bleeding disorders, so this cause has always felt personal to me. And on top of that, I've watched my mom work passionately for this community for years — seeing how much it means to her has shown me how much it should mean to all of us.

Volunteering has let me show up behind the scenes, but this walk is my chance to show up for this community in a different way — out front, asking the people in my life to support something I care deeply about.
