I don't have a bleeding disorder myself, but over the years I've been to a lot of Lone Star events, and I've gotten to meet kids who live with hemophilia and von Willebrand disease. Getting to know them has shown me how strong this community is, and how much it means to have people show up for you.

That's why I keep coming back to walk every year. It's a way for me to support my friends in this community and help raise money for programs that help kids and families like theirs.
