This June, I will be playing 100 holes in Golf Fight Cancer's 2026 New England Golf Marathon, a unique fundraising event that combines a love of golf and the desire to give back. Golfers of all skill levels play 100 holes to support cancer-related organizations.
In October of 2024 I lost a friend of 25+ years to brain cancer. The last time we were together was in May of 2024 in New York City at a company reunion for Sports Illustrated. Five months later he died. We trained for marathons together. We supported each other through good times and bad. I miss you Stephen and dedicate this effort fighting cancer to your battle and the example of fortitude and courage you set for your children.
My goal is $4,000, and a donation of any amount will make a difference to Red Door Community where no one faces cancer alone.
