Art for Hunger 2021 | October 21 - Nov. 30

Our third annual art sale will, once again, benefit the North Shore Packathon for Haiti. This year, it will take place at Christ Church of Hamilton & Wenham, 149 Asbury St., Hamilton MA 01984.

Why are we so excited about this event?

Last year a dozen community artists raised nearly $7000 toward a full-year lunch program for more than 200 kids in the Light and Peace School of St. Louis d'Ayiti. 
  • As you know, Haiti has been hit with more than its share of natural and political disasters.
  • The average income in Haiti is $350 per year. Some children cannot count on even one meal a day.
  • Only 60% of Haitian adults can read at a 6th grade level.
  • Their government does not provide schools to rural communities like St. Louis d'Ayiti.
  • We have partnered with the St. Louis d'Ayiti community to build a school. 
  • School lunches boost attendance like nothing else.
  • The schoolchildren of today can become change-agents for Haiti's future.
