Only 60% of Haitian adults can read at a 6th grade level.
Their government does not provide schools to rural communities.
The average income is $350 per year.
Some children cannot count on even one meal a day.

Here's my plan:

I'm going to the North Shore Packathon for Haiti on October 21,22,23 to help pack lunches for school children there. We plan to provide a full-year lunch program for more than 200 kids in the Light and Peace School of St. Louis d'Ayiti, a remote village in mountains of Haiti. Packathon volunteers form assembly lines in the Parish Hall and courtyard at Christ Church of Hamilton and Wenham to pack over 100,000 meals for them.

I want to make sure these Haitian children can count on lunch every weekday next school year, beginning January 1, 2022

On average, every volunteer packs a box of 240 lunches. "My" box holds $72 dollars worth of rice, beans, dried vegetables, protein powder, and a specially formulated vitamin powder designed for malnourished children. Will you help? Together, we really can make a difference!
