This year, I’m proudly walking in Paws in the Park, the annual fundraising walk for the SPCA Serving Erie County—an organization that isn’t just my workplace, it’s been a major part of my life for the past 23 years.
When I started working at the SPCA more than two decades ago, I never imagined how deeply it would shape who I am. I've seen scared animals find safety. I've witnessed cruelty cases turn into stories of resilience. And I’ve been lucky enough to play a role in reuniting lost pets with their families and helping animals find the loving homes they deserve.
Every single day, we care for animals who have no one else. We offer second chances, healing, hope—and it all takes community support to make it happen.
That’s why I’m walking. And that’s why I’m asking for your help.
