Never Alone Cancer Foundation is proud to partner with the Manitoba Paddling Association to host one of the summer's biggest events: The River City Dragon Boat Festival!  This year’s festival will be held on Sunday, June 1st, 2025 at The Manitoba Canoe and Kayak Centre, 80 Churchill Drive.  Dragon boating is one of Winnipeg's most popular summer events, and we couldn't be more excited to be a part of it!

This event is a FUNdraiser for the Never Alone Cancer Foundation, a Winnipeg based not-for-profit charity dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by cancer in our community.  Many people do not realize the financial hardships that accompany a cancer diagnosis.  Without benefits, a cancer diagnosis leaves many unable to work or even care for their children because they are too ill.  No one should ever have to make the decision between groceries or the cost of gas and parking to get to their treatments. 

All funds raised stay in Manitoba. We suggest that each team raise a minimum of $1,500 which is only $150 per paddler.

The 4 Top Fundraising Teams that raise more than $500 will be recognized in a special feature race! Cut-off for the fundrasing race will be 10am June 1.

Get your team of 20 or so friends, family, and/or co-workers together and get ready for great fun while helping a great cause!

With instruction and race supervision by the Manitoba Paddling Association, safety is a top priority. Boats, paddles, and personal floatation devices will be provided, so register your team and get ready for fun! Registration includes two practice sessions that start in early May.

• Mixed Team (20 person-minimum 8 female paddlers)
• Competitive team (20 person)
• Individual

• $1100.00 (20 Person Team) 
• Individual Entry Fee $55.00
