Well I can hardly believe that I'm typing this to all of you.  First of all I'm Not a runner! The only time I'm a runner is if I'm in a mall and it's closing and I want to get in before the door locks.  As most of you know I have an Amazing little granddaughter Laney.  I called her Buggy and she called me Amma.

On February 5th 2015, we were told our tiny little 2 year old had Cancer, AML. Of course we were all devastated but we knew the our God was bigger than cancer and our sweet Buggy would be healed.  Well as it turned out our prayers to have her healed here were not part of Gods plan.  On November 29th 2016 God healed Laney in Heaven.  Yay for her, as we are all striving to reach the finish line of earth and cross into heaven, but awful for all of us as we miss her more than we could ever tell you.  It's a pain I pray none of you will ever feel.  In the two years Buggy fought the fight of her life she did it so amazing.  She was strong and did it with grace and dignity.  She endured so many awful tests, pokes and unbelievable treatments it made us feel like we were the babies as she went through these things as she handled them with such grace.  Laney is my Hero! As we spent time with her and her family at their house we played a running game.  I would carry Laney running around the kitchen and dining room and Papa would chase us.  Her giggle and screams of excitement were so contagious.  As she giggled she would say "Run Amma Run" and I ran. It was a memory that I hold onto and I can still her her giggles.  So with that I will Run this Marathon for my Buggy.  She would be so proud of me and I will always be SO proud of her.  Thank you Babygirl Amma is running in honor of you.
