I spent three years at the University of New Orleans in the Creative Writing Workshop, eventually earning an MFA. For two of those years, I was a graduate assistant at the University of New Orleans Press, and I am currently a Postgraduate Fellow for UNO Press. My time at UNO, both as a graduate student and working for the Press, have proved invaluable to me. I've learned so much. That's why I'm working to raise money as part of the 2019 Write-A-Thon. To help future students afford an incredible education and to help UNO Press in its mission to publish important books that elevate underrepresented voices.
