My Personal Fundraising Page

I don't often fundraise but this is a cause near and dear to me and my love and compassion for animals.  I initially set a modest goal of $200 but due to the unbelievable generosity of my friends I have reset it to $500.  Any amount truly helps, esp. while the campaign works towards its first milestone of $10,000, which will be doubled by a very generous donor...$5, $10, whatever you can contribute.


I truly understand eating meat - we still eat some meat - but there's so much government, farmers, and processors can do to move towards the ethical treatment of farm animals.  In case you are unaware, here in Ontario, recent Ford Conservative government legislation has passed a gag order ("ag gag") against anyone trying to report mistreatment of farm animals and inhumane practices...ridiculous!  Donating towards my goal will help fund the principal and forefront organization, Animal Justice, fighting for animal rights - in cases like this, holding the government to task and fighting to reverse this legislation.  Animal Justice is a remarkable Canadian organization - you can read about all the good they do here.
