I have always had a soft spot for Farm animals. Why? Because....they are such large captivating creatures. As a child, I always wanted to spend time with cows, pigs, goats, chickens, sheep. It was when I was in Vet Tech college that I actually got to spend time with these precious creatures and.....I fell in love!!!! 

Unlike the Folks in the Vegan movement, I am not fighting for the abolishment of eating meat but rather.....for a way of life. The animals that feed humanity.....DESERVE a loving, supportive, healthy and safe life before they sacrificed for human consumption. They are all sentient beings with hearts, lungs, brains....which means....they feel. We get to acknowledge this AND......we get to respect them. 

In my mind, respect looks like caring about farming practices. Respect looks like humans fighting for a way of life for them. Respect looks like holding those corporations/Farmers accountable to their cruelty actions. Respect looks like caring, supporting and creating an environment of safety, respect, gratitude and warm as we take their life for food. 

WE GET TO DO BETTER!!!!!!! Why? Because we can!!!
