As Board Chair of The Community Kitchen, I have the privilege of seeing every day what happens when a community comes together to care for one another.

Ensuring that our neighbors have enough to eat is deeply important to me. I believe access to nutritious food should be a basic human right, not something determined by circumstance or income. No one should have to wonder where their next meal will come from.

What inspires me most about The Community Kitchen is that we don't just provide food. We provide dignity, connection, and hope. Every meal served represents a community saying, "You matter."

I am continually inspired by the dedication of our staff, volunteers, and fellow board members. Their compassion, hard work, and commitment make this mission possible and remind me why I am proud to support this organization.
