VCA Walk for the Animals

My beloved, Pepperjack was tranfered to the Broward County Humane society from a Central Florida kill shelter in August 2015. After spending a few weeks at the BCHS as "Duncan" he made his way home with me. Pepperjack had an amazing 7 years in our family until I lost him this past June to bone cancer. He will always be the greatest doggie love of my life and I owe that all to the hard work of Humane Society. In the last year of his life, he lost an eye and a leg but never lost his joy for life or the love of his family. This year I walk in his honor.

For over 32 years, the Walk for the Animals has served as the Humane Society of Broward County's largest annual fundraiser. By donating to the Walk, you are helping thousands of animals that come through their doors each year. Every dollar supports them as they provide veterinary care, food, shelter and much much more to every animal they see.
