I am participating in the Walk to End Hunger on November 28th. Nothing too strenuous, just a casual walk around the neighborhood...Maybe you'd like to take a walk too, and help people who are struggling right now.  It's a sad truth that one in five Twin City families are struggling to put food on the table.  If everyone helps out, we'll all be better off!

If you'd like to register, it costs $25 dollars.  We'd love to have you on the Tofu Baster team!  Alternately, donate to me or someone else on the Tofu Baster team and join us for a walk (in real life or "in spirit" from your couch).  

All of the money will go to Second Harvest Heartland, a group that gets great marks from Charity Navigator.  Their main operation involves distributing food that is just past the expiration date but still good to people in need.
