All money goes directly to supporting people in our own community!  100% of the net proceeds are distributed to our partner organizations to fight hunger and poverty.

With mental health challenges and economic hardships on the rise this year with the COVID-19 pandemic, 1 in 8 Minnesotans are experiencing hunger.  This year there are high rates of job losses and unprecedented economic uncertainty.  Over 275,000 Minnesotans don’t know where their next meal is coming from, and that is why we thought this would be a way we can help and walk – even though its virtual this year.

It’s with your generous support that we can make a difference.  We want to invite you to virtually walk with us between now and Thanksgiving morning. Your friends and family are invited to join us too! Share our link and spread the word.  You can join our team and walk anyway that fits your life (now through Thanksgiving Day) To join our team the registration is $25 per person.  You can choose if you want to donate as well.

You can also not walk.... and just decide to donate to our team.   Both ways will make a difference!

• One lap around the Mall of America is 2000 steps
• 60 minutes of walking equals about 7200 steps
• 1 min Low intensity (gentle) = 85 steps
• 1 min Moderate/Brisk intensity (comfortable) = 150 steps
• 1 min High Intensity (tolerable intensity) = 200 steps
• One lap in a swimming pool equates to about 130 steps
