STEPS FOR LIFE VIRTUAL 5K

Join us in the fight to cure blood cancers through stem cell and bone marrow transplants! Each of us has the power within us to save someone's life! 

Cancer hasn't stopped during the COVID-19 crisis and neither have we! Your support of Steps for Life Virtual 5k matters now more than ever!

You can complete the Steps for Life Virtual 5k from any location and at any time! Run, jog or walk on the road, trail or treadmill while keeping a safe distance from other runners. You get to participate in your own race and at your own pace! 
 

Join the Virtual Closing Ceremony on Monday, May 24th, 7 PM ET

Step 1: Register to Participate 

• Now through May 24, 2021 @ 7PM ET (Register here)
• Medals, shirts and other Gift of Life swag will be sent out beginning a few weeks prior to the May 24, 2021 deadline.
• Registration includes a variety of Gift of Life swag and the ability to enter to win great fundraising prizes! 

Step 2: Fundraise & Train

• Once you've registered, start fundraising! 
• Set up either a personal or team fundraising page to share with your friends and family via email and social media to raise money for Gift of Life.
• Check out the Fundraising Guide & Incentives tab to see the prizes you can earn as you fundraise!

Step 3: Run & Join the Fun!

• Download your Steps for Life 5k Race Bib
• Complete your 5K between now and May 24, 2021 @ 7PM ET. Run, jog, or walk all at once or over time! 
• Join us for the Virtual Kickoff and witness the emotional first-time meeting of a transplant recipient to their lifesaving donor, on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 7PM ET
• Submit your time to be eligible for an exclusive Top Finisher medal.
• Fundraising prizes earned will be mailed to your registration mailing address beginning on April 1, 2021.
