Augie was diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma (cancer in both eyes) in May 2022, when he was only 5 months old. His type of cancer is rare and treatment requires frequent travel outside of Virginia as well as monitoring throughout his lifetime. ASK's many programs support families like ours financially and emotionally, making the impossible possible and the unbearable bearable. Our team walks in honor of Augie and all the other children who are spending or have spent their childhood battling cancer.
