Beep! Beep! Welcome to the CARing for a Cause team page. We participated in ASK's Annual 5K and fun walk last year, and this year is our second time as a team! We had such amazing success last year in raising money for this near to our hearts cause and hope to do the same this year!

Many may ASK (pun intended) why this foundation is important to us: Our son, Pierce, was diagnosed at 16 months old with a Wilms Tumor. A Wilms tumor is a type of childhood cancer that starts in the kidneys and is the most common childhood cancer. What was supposed to be a routine checkup turned into a cancer diagnosis less than 12 hours later and within a week, Pierce underwent surgery to remove his left kidney. Pierce is now 4.5 years old living life to the fullest and cancer free. We know how a cancer diagnosis changes a family's whole world and just how many people it takes to support those facing the unimaginable. With the help of people like you, ASK is able to provide many necessary resources to children diagnosed with cancer and their families at a critical time.

ASK wouldn't be able to provide the resources it does without our community's support and we are so excited to share that Ourisman Toyota of Richmond has partnered with us to support this amazing cause. We want to thank them for being part of CARing for a Cause. We know with their help, we will be racing to meet our goal!

Every donation will make an impact on ASK children and their families. If you can not make a donation, please help us spread the word by sharing our page and mission. We invite anyone who can join us to come out on Saturday May 18 8am-12pm at the Diamond to show the ASK kids and their families a honking good time!
