Hello Friends and Animal Lovers,

Thank you for visiting our Walk for the Animals fundraising page!

The Humane Society of Broward County is very special to me, not only because I adopted Zoe from this shelter almost fifteen years ago, but also because of the care, love and time that is dedicated to these animals in finding them their forever homes.  One of the programs that they offer is the Animal Assisted Therapy Program.  This year Zoe and I are celebrating our twelveth year of being a part of this very special program that offers so much to our community.  Throughout the years we’ve been blessed with our visits to our Marjory Stoneman Douglas community, Camp Erin (a grieving camp for children), assisted living facilities, college and high school events and our assigned library where children practice their reading to Zoe monthly.

For over 34 years, the Walk for the Animals has served as the Humane Society of Broward County's largest annual fundraiser. By donating to the Walk, you are helping thousands of animals that come through their doors each year and our community with the various programs that are offered to them.  Every dollar supports them as they provide veterinary care, food, shelter and much more to every animal they see.

We invite you to come out and have a fun time at the Walk.  If you can't make it, would you please consider sending a donation our way to support the tremendous work of this wonderful organization?  No amount is too small because it all counts towards our overall team goal.
