My Story
Hi there! My name is Megan Sardegna! I am a senior at Oklahoma State University studying Animal Science with an emphasis in Equine Enterprise Management. I am from Belvidere, Illinois, where the rest of my family resides. I love sports, animals, and my college community at St. John Catholic Student Center. I also recently got engaged!
This is my fourth year as a Biking for Babies missionary, and I am SO EXCITED to be back! Originally, I wanted to bike, but due to knee injuries over the past years, I had to transition to support crew. At first, I was really bummed about having to make that decision because all I knew was the role of the rider. The role of the rider has many parallels to that of the pregnant mother. As I continued to pray about being support crew, the role of Pregnancy Care Centers came to mind. PRCs are there to support the pregnant mothers in their time of need, just like support crew are there to care for the riders in their times of need.
I am doing Biking for Babies again this year for all the mothers who do not have a support system. My prayer is that they are able to find the support that they need to choose life for their unborn baby.
Join me in Biking for Babies' mission by making a gift towards my fundraising campaign. Your gift supports our mission to renew the culture of life by forming young adult missionaries and raising awareness and funds for pregnancy resource centers that support pregnant women across the country.

Day #4 of the National Ride, we rode from Lenexa, KS, to Sedalia, MO. That was a wet, muggy, and hot day! Turned out to be beautiful at the end of the day, and our hosts were so sweet!

Day #6 of the National Ride- the Celebration of Life. We made it to St. Louis from Green Bay, Wisconsin! What a time... I truly found a second family in this team.

Day #1 of the National Ride- 140 miles from Green Bay, WI, to Madison, WI. We ended our day at Women's Care Center in Madison, where we had Mass with the Bishop and shared in a potluck dinner with the community. What a blessing to have such joyful people in my life.

We made it safely to the Celebration of Life! What a week! This experience inspired me to return to Biking for Babies the next year.
