Hello potentional donors, my name is Evan Briguglio, and I am a second year Biking for Babies support crew missionary. My now-fiancée introduced me to B4B almost two years ago and convinced me to sign on to be a missionary last year. I am entering my third year of veterinary school at Oklahoma State University, and I am getting married in November.
I decided to come back as a second year missionary for two reasons. The primary reason I wanted to return is the goodness of the mission. As missionaries, we get to support, sacrifice, and raise awareness for pregnant mothers facing uncertain futures through the support of pregnancy resource centers around the country through our fundraising, prayers, and interactions with others. The second reason is that the National Ride last year was incredible; over the course of a week, our team traveled 600 miles by bike, and while this is a challenging endeavor, we were able to offer our suffering and challenges up for these mothers and unborn children in need. This experience of working hard and joyfully sacrificing for each other and for the mothers was truly life-giving.
