Meet our Honorary Captain - Logan 

Logan is a resilient 2.5-year-old who entered the world full term but not breathing. She was later diagnosed with HIE (Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy) which caused a significant brain injury. Logan spent seven weeks in the NICU learning how to breathe on her own and become strong enough to come home. The family is grateful for the support they received from our friends at the Ronald McDonald House of Albany.

She had a G-tube placed because she doesn't have a safe swallow and receives all her nutrition this way.

Because of her HIE, she also has cerebral palsy and global developmental delays. She works hard every week in physical, occupational, and speech therapy.

Logan is especially sensitive to respiratory illnesses and has been hospitalized a few times because of them. But more than anything, Logan is a happy, snuggly girl who loves books, coloring, music, and being surrounded by love. Her strength and sweet spirit shine through every single day.
