2nd ANNUAL DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL

The inaugural Dragon Boat Festival was a blast, and we are already looking forward to 2025!

What is a Dragon Boat Festival? Teams of 16 paddlers and a drummer compete on Folsom’s beautiful Lake Natoma for the fastest times. No experience necessary! We provide the boats and a practice session, and you provide the team. It is a fun and unique team-building experience all while raising funds to make transformation possible by breaking the cycles of addiction, abuse, and incarceration. 

How can I get involved? Captain a team, join a team, become a sponsor, host a vendor space, volunteer, or simply come cheer on your favorite team! The event is free for spectators. Bring a chair and make it a fun family day! 
 

All proceeds benefit Powerhouse Ministries, a local non-profit that inspires and empowers people to rise above their circumstances, change their lives, and impact their community.

3 WAYS TO REGISTER - JOIN THE FUN!

1. Start a new team and register as a team captain. You will get to pick your team name! 

2. Join an already established team. 

3. Register as a paddler and we will place you on a team. This is a great way to meet new people and get active. 

*Each team must raise a minimum of $4,675 in order to participate in the final races. This can be done as a team or individually ($275 x 17 members = $4,675) and in a variety of ways: fundraising, sponsorship, or personal donation.

This event is free to attend for spectators, however event parking is $10 per vehicle, paid to Black Miners Bar directly.
