Duke Anesthesiology is proud to participate in the 2026 FAER Anesthesiology Giving Competition, and yes, we’re in it to win!
But more importantly, we’re participating because FAER’s mission hits close to home. FAER invests in the next generation of anesthesiology investigators, providing the early research opportunities, mentorship, and support that help launch careers in academic anesthesiology.
FAER’s investment in Duke has been extraordinary: 29 Duke investigators have received 32 FAER grants, and 19 medical students have participated in FAER-supported research experiences at Duke.
Now it’s our turn to give back.
Our Duke challenge
Our goals: 100 donors and at least $5,000 raised.
Every gift matters. Because departments compete based on both dollars raised and participation, a $10 or $25 donation moves Duke closer to our donor goal just as surely as a larger gift does.
And we plan to have some fun along the way. We’re working on a series of Duke Anesthesiology milestone challenges and department-wide incentives we make our way toward our goal. Stay tuned as we unlock them throughout the competition!
