We’re proud to take part in this year’s Anesthesiology Giving Competition (AGC). We’re in it to WIN!
And, most importantly, to raise funds supporting the Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research (FAER) and its grantees, scholars, and fellows!
We all know the critical importance research represents to our field – research that wouldn’t be possible without ensuring a steady inflow of researchers into the specialty ready to move anesthesiology and medicine forward.
In pursuit of that goal, every year FAER awards over $2.5 million in grants and sponsors more than 100 student fellows and resident scholars!
Give to support the future of our field and the researchers who will lead us there! Give to support FAER and its mission! And give to help us take home the gold!? We’re aiming to win:
- Bragging rights!
- A trophy!
- A FAER-funded get-together!
- Grand Rounds by FAER leadership!
The AGC starts Monday, October 12, and ends at 11:59 p.m. CT on Friday, October 23. Here’s how to donate and lead us to victory:
- Click the ‘Donate Now’ button under the thermometer to the right.
- On the first page of the donation form, ensure 'Unrestricted General Fund' is selected for donations to be allocated properly.
- Complete the donation form, and double check that you are supporting Washington University in St. Louis on the last page before submitting your donation.
- You’re done! A receipt will be emailed to you.
Our goal is to raise $8,000 by October 23! We need you to help us get there. Donations at any level ($25 minimum) are wonderful, appreciated, and help us win. If you want to donate using a check, let us know and we'll send you instructions. Also, only donations made during the AGC count toward our goal and trophy. Please note that your discretionary fund cannot be used for charitable donations such as the AGC.
