We’re excited to kick off the 2026 Anesthesiology Giving Competition (AGC) today! The competition runs October 12–23, and UMMC Anesthesiology is in it to WIN!
Last year, Dr. Tanith Graham and Dr. Arora led UMMC’s FAER Giving Campaign, raising more than $1,700 and helping represent our department in this national competition. This year, we hope to build on that momentum and show once again how strongly UMMC Anesthesiology supports the future of our specialty.
What is FAER?
The Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research (FAER) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and a related organization of the American Society of Anesthesiologists®. For over 35 years, FAER has been dedicated to developing the next generation of physician-investigators.
Each year, FAER awards more than $2.5 million in research grants and supports more than 100 medical student fellows and resident scholars, helping develop the researchers who will move anesthesiology and medicine forward.
