For a fourth time, the Oberlin Football team will team up with the Go4theGoal Foundation to raise funds and awareness for kids battling cancer in Northeast Ohio. All cancer treatments are a huge financial burden for famlies - and every dollar raised will be used to improve the lives of people in our community.
This annual fundraiser provides families with direct financial assistance, funds innovative research, supports unique hospital programs, and grants personal wishes.
Since 2007, Go4theGoal has funded nearly $1,000,000.00 in research – a critical piece of the puzzle as cancer is the leading cause of death among children, yet less than 4% of federal funding goes to fight pediatric cancer.
The Yeomen football team raised more than $8,150 in 2022.
