Family, Friends, and other Donors,

I am a junior at Lutheran High School and will be participating in this year’s Walk-A-Thon. Our theme for this year’s Walk-A-Thon is the Walking Saints. It will be held on October 31, yes on Halloween/500th Reformation. Costumes, treats, and walking around the school will be involved.

If you are not aware, Lutheran finally took advantage of our Saint’s Pride and raised enough money to get a new track and field in last year. Last year, we raised over $12,000 towards putting in our new track and field. This year, we have put it in use, but the financing of the field is not finished. We need your support to reach this year’s goal of $11,000.

Thanks to the track and field, my friends and I can go to the football games and not be embarrassed of the field. We all can admire the hard work so many of us have put into the new and improved track and field. Soccer, football, cheerleading, and track and field all have the ability to use the new track and field and not worry about if they are going to step in a hole or slip in mud. Now, they get to focus on the sport they love and enjoy their time at Lutheran.
