Greetings Friends and Family,

I hope all is well. Did you know that the 500th anniversary of the Reformation is October 31st? What an awesome day to celebrate. On October 31, Halloween, the students, faculty, and staff of Lutheran High School are going to be walking another Walkathon. Now, you might be asking yourself, ‘Didn’t I give them money for the one they had last year?’ And you are correct. We did have a Walkathon last year, and thanks to your generous donations, we were able to get the track and field done by this fall!

This Walkathon is to finish the financing on our track and field, and to pay it all off. Last year, we raised a total of $12,000, when our goal was only $10,000. That is all thanks to you! However, this year, our goal is $11,000. When I thought of people that I was going to ask, I though of you. I am asking if you would be willing to give Lutheran High School a donation of $2, $5, $10, or anything that you are capable or willing of giving.

The field of Lutheran High School has already been used everyday.

Your generosity has allowed us to host home football, girls soccer, and boys soccer, which were not able to do last year because of our field. This year though, I have been able to watch my peers and support them during their games at Lutheran High School on the new field. I don’t ever personally use the track or field, but I know how much it means to the students here. I use the gym for my sports, and I know that I love having home games, so Saints can come and cheer us on. I think all the football players would rather have a home game than an away game, so we’d be able to come and cheer them on.
