We are called in our baptismal vows to resist evil, love our neighbor as ourselves, strive for justice, and respect the dignity of every human being. Racism is the opposite of these vows, an evil of oppression that favors some people above others. The YWCA has a mission that fits with our vows: “… eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.” Help us help the YWCA carry out its mission!
