This will be my third year swimming 1.2 miles across Lake Cayuga, to raise money in support of Hospice Care. Dying is a part of life. Hospice care provides compassionate end of life care for those who are terminally ill. It supports families, it is also a pathway to dignity in a very important part of life, and one that we too often ignore or try not to discuss.

This event is also a celebration of women. As in past years, this year I will be swimming alongside my great friends, Amara, Kate, Olivia, and Whitney. They are amazing women, friends, mothers. It's an honor to know them and be a part of their team.
