While it's no secret that I love animals and will give all that I am to protecting them, the truth is that my companion Napoleon has truly been a driving force for my work. He was the best dog anyone could ever ask for, gentle, a teacher, affectionate, and dare I even say a better communicator of his feelings than I. Napoleon walked side by side with me as I figured out my path, helped ease my children into their new home with nothing but snuggles and helped introduce my son Alijah into this world by protecting him when he was born.
It is for him that I fight, it is for his love that I pursue a better life for animals in need and it is for him that I ask all my friends, colleagues, and community members to stand united in support of our lifesaving work. Help the BVSPCA bring about positive change for animals like Napoleon.
