I have been participating in Heart Walks for almost two decades, but this year feels like the most important. This time last year, I was facing a very serious surgery and I didn't know if I would be here for this year's walk. BUT...here I am! Ready to raise money and walk for a great cause!

My commitment to making a difference has led me to participate in the Congenital Heart Walk, an event that carries immense significance for me. It's not just a walk; it's a stride toward changing lives. This endeavor is all about supporting The Children's Heart Foundation and its crucial mission - advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects through groundbreaking research--the very kind that has literally given me a new lease on a long life!
