Rachel has worn many hats throughout her life, and Bend locals may know her as one of the owners of Portello Lounge with her husband Bryan or as the high‑energy host of the packed Wednesday night Music Bingo, where she gets the whole room singing and dancing. An accomplished performer, Rachel’s background spans acting, musical theatre, music performance, songwriting, improvisation, and dance. She studied acting and musical theatre at Roosevelt University in Chicago and trained in improvisation and sketch comedy at The Second City Conservatory. She has performed in theatres and music venues across Florida, Chicago, Portland, and Bend, and is especially proud of writing, producing, directing, and performing her biographical one‑woman show Show Off to sold‑out audiences in 2022, with hopes to remount it in Bend soon. Rachel has sung with multiple Portland cover bands, fronted her own bands Big City Smile and Lyric Road, and performed solo at intimate local venues. Having grown up dancing, Rachel is thrilled to join the Flight Crew Hip‑Hop team! She’s excited to bring her passion, performance experience, and signature enthusiasm to Dancing With the Central Oregon Stars - all in support of Sparrow Clubs and the families they serve.

Alex Reininger is a dancer, choreographer, roller skater, figure skating coach, and movement educator based in Bend, Oregon. A Central Oregon native, she is the founder of Mindful Motion, a movement practice dedicated to helping people build confidence, connection, and joy through dance, skating, and mindful movement. With over 15 years of formal dance training in ballet, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop, Alex teaches weekly beginner line dance lessons at The Coyote and coaches roller skating and figure skating through Bend Park & Recreation District at The Pavilion. She also performs with Grand Ballet Academy, founded Roller Skaters of Central Oregon, and proudly works alongside her family at Leapin’ Lizards Toy Company, a local business that has served the Central Oregon community for decades. After coaching Team Love in Motion in her debut season as a Pro Hip Hop Coach for Dancing with the Central Oregon Stars last year, Alex is honored to return for a second season. Growing up in Central Oregon has given her a deep appreciation for this community, and she is grateful for the opportunity to support Sparrow Clubs by using movement to bring people together in service of local children and families.
