My fundraiser for Xerces

Stratford Los Gatos First Graders

Please join in and protect invertebrates today!

Butterflies, bees, dragonflies, beetles, spiders, freshwater mussels and other invertebrates sustain life as we know it. Yet many are declining due to habitat loss, pesticide use, climate change, and more. But there are steps that we can all take to help these vital animals and no action is too small. Please taking a stand for invertebrates today by making a donation to my fundraiser. Your support means the world to me, thank you!

Hi, we're the Stratford Los Gatos first graders!

We are learning about an animal that lives in our community called the Ohlone tiger beetle. This special beetle only occurs in coastal Santa Cruz County and was protected under the Endangered Species Act in 2001. Guided by our amazing teachers and scientific experts, our class is making art, cleaning up our school grounds habitat, and raising funds for the Xerces Society, a non-profit that helps invertebrates like beetles, bees and butterflies. Thank you so much for helping our class make a big difference!
