This will be my 20th year swimming 1.2 miles across Cayuga Lake in support of Hospicare!

I am so grateful that I am still able to train and fundraise to swim 1.2 miles across Cayuga Lake for Hospicare, an amazing organization that provides end of life compassionate care to everyone regardless of their ability to pay.  While an illness prevented me from participating in this event the first year, I am so thankful to have been able to swim every year since-- in cold water, in rainy weather, in windy weather, in strong currents, in clear skies, and even one year with a neoprene  back brace.  Every year when I get to the middle of the lake I pause my strokes  and think of those who are no longer with us. May all their memories be a blessing. 

My goal continues to be the same as it was 20 summers ago, to raise as much money as I can for Hospicare so that I can "give back."   Please join me in supporting this very worthy cause.
