Team Augie's Avengers, assemble! ASK is a foundation that supports many families like ours who have been affected by childhood cancer. This year, as in years past, their 5K Run and Fun Walk falls within days of the anniversary of my brother Augie's diagnosis of bilateral retinoblastoma (cancer in both eyes) when he was only 5 months old. Augie is now 3 years old, and we are celebrating our 3rd year of fighting (and crushing) childhood cancer, along with all of our ASK friends. Our team name is Augie's Avengers, and we walk/run to honor our own little superhero and all children who fight or have fought battles with this cancer monster while so very little. So join us this year again as we fight like a kid at the 20th Annual Ask 5K and Fun Walk! (Bonus: superhero capes included!)
